Everytime he used that tool if he had used rasengan he would be my favorite character but now he is just a cheater
Btw I am excited for next episode to see Naruto full strength

This moment was the first time I've heard that "Scientific Ninja Tools" are forbidden, outside of private conversations.

Alakay|BladeZT • 2 years ago

Boruto, you fucked up.

Halcion Smith • 2 years ago

Not really, no, because he's right about his dad, though Naruto does bear responsibility for shaming his child in public the way he did; he should have exposed the tool, and let the people decide if it was fair to use such a Ninja Tool... then judge his son with the resulting consensus... how can the tool be against the rules, when Naruto had to explain that the tool even existed in the first place.

All good points. Naruto should have been responsible for training his son if he expected Boruto to do great. Hokage or not, Naruto should’ve at least tried to bond with Boruto through training. Then he wouldn’t be so disappointed

He isn't right about Naruto because he knows nothing about Naruto, What Naruto went through as a child, all his struggles and suffering, nothing. I don't see how you can resent someone you know nothing about. I do agree that Naruto bares a part of the responsibility since Boruto did this because of his negligence. I believe he did the right thing. He wasn't trying to shame Boruto, Boruto did that to himself flawlessly, Naruto just set the stage for him to redeem himself. The irrefutable fact of the matter is that Naruto, The Seventh Hokage told the science dudes that the ninja tool was banned since it's kinda cheating and also that it stands against Naruto's and the whole point of the chunin exam's principles. I don't remember well but I think they manipulated Boruto to use it saying something about his father, but even if Boruto didn't know it was banned, he already knew what it meant if he used it(since he was hiding it). Therefore his comeuppance was well deserved I believe.
Honestly though all of this could have been avoided if Naruto took a little time(out of his very busy schedule) to tell Boruto a few stories from his past.

I'm glad he redeemed himself in the end though
Ignoring how Boruto must've felt, imagine how everyone else, all the people who put their faith in him, his opponents who though they lost fair and square, even Naruto, imagine how they felt.

Boruto is actually a really good show I don’t get why people hate on it. It’s great to me😌🤌

Yeah. Moments like this are painful to watch, but that's exactly what they were going for. Every moment Boruto gave everything he could that got the audience hyped, just for him to use the tool just to win, leading to the immediate replacement of hype with disappointment and betrayal, was all intentional, and done incredibly well.
I don't like the way Boruto has acted. We aren't meant to. This was meant to pave way for character development

Maybe this is the moment when BORUTO would suffer great pain, learn from his mistakes and come out to be a strong, likable protagonist who has been through shit to gain true respect just like Naruto did......or maybe he'll just stay the way he is.
